Pervane ("the App") is a private, self-hosted household application operated by Mehmet Basbug ("we", "us"). It serves a single household; there are no third-party users, no advertising, and no commercial use of any data.

1. Information the App accesses

With the account owner's explicit OAuth consent, the App accesses the household's own Google accounts using these read-only scopes:

• Gmail (gmail.readonly) — to find and download the household's own financial documents (invoices, receipts, bank and card statements, tax documents) attached to its email.
• Google Drive (drive.readonly) — to download the household's own files for local archiving and bookkeeping.

The App never sends email, never modifies or deletes any Google data, and never accesses accounts other than the household's own.

2. How information is used

Downloaded documents are used solely for the household's own bookkeeping, expense categorization, tax preparation, and record-keeping. Google user data is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the household's own financial administration.

3. Limited Use disclosure

Pervane's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

4. Storage and security

All data is stored on a private server owned and physically controlled by the household, protected by authentication and disk-level access controls. OAuth tokens are stored with restrictive file permissions and are revocable at any time. No data is stored with third parties beyond Google itself.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer any personal or Google user data to any third party. Data may be disclosed only to the household's own professional advisors (e.g., accountant, attorney) for legitimate household business, or where required by law.

6. Retention and deletion

Financial records are retained per legal record-keeping requirements. Google access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately disables the App's access. To request deletion of any downloaded data, contact us at the address below.
